Carreg Lafar Cardiff Carreg Lafar means 'speaking stone', an echo stone. Active in the Welsh traditional music scene for 20 years, the band has changed many peoples' view of traditional Welsh music with its lively and passionate performances. Through a mix of traditional and original compositions, Carreg Lafar presents a vibrant spirit whilst being firmly rooted in the language and living tradition of Welsh folk music. The band has released three albums, 'Ysbryd y Werin', 'Hyn' and 'Profiad', with the fourth new album 'Aur' being released in 2016.
